Water Parks & Municipal Pools in Marana, Arizona
Beat the summer heat in Marana by visiting one of the water parks or pools to cool off. Marana is home to Breakers Water Park which is open May through September each year, and offers giant water slides, wave pools, and family fun for everyone. Many of Marana’s public pool facilities offer swim lessons for all ages, swim teams, and open swimming opportunities in the summer months.
Breakers Water Park
Breakers Water Park in Marana has Southern Arizona’s largest wave pool, seven thrilling water slides, and The Riptide for an exciting near-vertical drop. Captain Kidd’s Surfari is fun for the little ones, and plenty of food and drink make this an ideal place to spend a hot summer day.

“The Marana Pool is located in North Marana at Ora Mae Harn District Park. Amenities include seven swim lanes, a diving bay and ramada-style seating. The pool is 25 yards in length and has depths ranging from 3 to 12 feet. Maximum capacity is 242.” (marana.com)
Wade McLean Pool
Wade McLean pool is located next door to Marana High School, and boasts 8 lanes with a deep diving end, a zero-depth entry with dumping bucket feature, and a popular slide. There are swim team programs, swim lessons, and open recreation available at this location in the summer. The Pima Aquatic Club year-round USA swimming team and the Marana High School Tigers practice here the rest of the year.
